[Toronto, Ontario Canada November 24, 2008] -- John Podesta, the newly appointed Co-Chair of the Barack Obama White House Transition Team was today linked by CNN's Space Correspondent Miles O'Brien to Podesta's own Washington National Press Club statements that call for the American government to open its UFO files to the public because it is the law.
ZlandCommunications News Network has learned that CNN's American Morning's Space correspondent Miles O'Brien began CNN's week long UFO investigation with solicitor and UFO disclosure advocate John Podesta's statement: "I think it's time to open the books on questions that have remained in the dark on the question of government investigations of UFOs. We ought to do it because the American people quite frankly can handle the truth, and we ought to do it because it's the law." John Podesta made the statements in 2002 and 2003 at the National Press Club in Washington DC.
Podesta, the former Chief of Staff in the Bill Clinton administration has been a long-time advocate of UFO Disclosure and an end to unnecessary government secrecy. While Chief of Staff in the Clinton White House he was also aware that Laurence S. Rockefeller sent a series of letters to President Clinton, Hillary Clinton and the President's Science Advisor Dr. John Gibbons requesting meetings to end UFO secrecy. John Podesta is the CEO of the Center for American Progress - an agency against unnecessary government secrecy.
Could this previous White House involvement, the provocative statements by Podesta and his subsequent appointment as Co-Chair of the White House Transition Team be a signal that the Obama administration is readying itself for the disclosure of UFO files similar to the releases by the French and British governments?
Not only has Barack Obama made history by being elected the first African American President, he has also made history by appointing an anti-secrecy UFO advocate to a lofty White House Transition Team position; a remarkable decision by President-Elect Obama.
A recommendation to the President by John Podesta as Transition Team leader to end the UFO secrecy embargo would be all that is necessary to initiate a Presidential Order to release all UFO files and conduct Congressional Hearings about the public policy, free-energy and technological implications of the UFO/ET issue.
