w/ Follow-ups for the National Candidates

[Primary question for every candidate] As President of the United States will you release to the American people all government documents relating to alleged extraterrestrial phenomena and will you demand a full briefing from the military services and intelligence agencies regarding these phenomena?

[For Bill Richardson] Governor, in your foreword to the 2006 book, The Roswell Dig Diaries, you wrote: "the mystery surrounding this crash (at Roswell) has never been adequately explained - not by independent investigators, and not by the U.S. government."    As President of the United States will you release to the American people all government documents relating to alleged extraterrestrial phenomena and will you demand a full briefing from the military services and intelligence agencies regarding these phenomena?

• [Follow-up] Governor, in 2002 and 2003 former Clinton top advisor and chief of staff, John Podesta, also publicly called for declassifying these documents, yet the political press made no effort to follow up with either him or you and Democratic Party adversaries made no challenge or attempt at ridiculing either of you.  Do you not find that inexplicable?

[For Hillary Clinton] Senator, from 1993 through 1995 Laurance Rockefeller approached the Office of Science and Technology Policy under Dr. John Gibbons in the Executive Branch, and made a concerted effort to convince your husband to release all government documents pertaining to extraterrestrial related phenomena.   As President of the United States will you release to the American people all government documents relating to alleged extraterrestrial phenomena and will you demand a full briefing from the military services and intelligence agencies regarding these phenomena?

• [Follow-up] Senator, in 1994 and 1995 you and President Clinton visited Laurance Rockefeller at his JY Ranch near Jackson Hole, WY and met with him privately.   Did you discuss with Mr. Rockefeller his disclosure initiative directed at your husband's administration and are you aware that 50% of the American poll they believe UFOs are extraterrestrial in nature?

Are you aware a former deputy prime minister and minister of defense of Canada, Paul Hellyer, has publicly stated he is convinced extraterrestrials are engaging our planet and the Roswell events of July 1947 were extraterrestrial in origin.

• If no, offer up the web address of Exopolitics Toronto, www.exopoliticstoronto.com, and ask if the candidate believes the U. S. Government is being truthful regarding this issue.
• If yes, ask if the candidate will put pressure on his or her party and the administration to be as forthcoming on the issue.

Are you aware a press conference by the Disclosure Project was held at the National Press Club on May 9, 2001 in which the testimony of 75 military and agency witnesses was presented to the national and international media, and that this collective testimony strongly confirms an extraterrestrial presence.?

• If no, offer up the Disclosure Project web address (www.disclosureproject.org), and ask whether testimony of this importance should not warrant congressional attention?
• If yes, "what is your view of this testimony, and if elected will you call for congressional hearings?"

Are you aware of a political initiative led and funded by Laurance Rockefeller from 1993 to 1996 to convince the Clinton administration to engage the UFO/ET question openly, end the government cover-up and call for congressional hearings.  

• If no, "our government claims the UFO/ET matter is of no consequence.  If so, why would a member of one of the most powerful families in America have made such an effort.?
• If yes, "will you call for the Bush administration to engage the issues brought forward by Laurance Rockefeller to the Clinton administration?"

Are you aware of the revelations of career Army intelligence officer, the late Col. Philip J. Corso, in his 1997 memoir, The Day After Roswell, confirming an extraterrestrial presence and government cover-up of this fact?

• If no, "given the significance of these allegations, should you not be aware?"
• If yes, "why hasn’t the Joint Chiefs, Army, Congress or Executive Branch responded to both the book and Col. Corso’s public statements in 1997 and 1998?"

Are you aware of the public statements of former Apollo Astronaut, Dr. Edgar Mitchell, that active and retired government and military personnel of stature have confirmed to him the extraterrestrial nature of the 1947 Roswell, New Mexico event, and that a kind of “second government” is maintaining a cover-up of the facts regarding an extraterrestrial presence in our world?

• If no, given that Edgar Mitchell is a distinguished American with an MIT Ph.D. and a member of the exclusive group of NASA astronauts who walked on the moon, should you not be aware?
• If yes, why hasn’t NASA, the Congress or the Executive Branch of our government thoroughly and properly responded to these allegations?

Would it concern you if any intelligence agency deliberately chose not to brief any sitting President or appropriate members of the House and Senate on the full extent of UFO/ET phenomena? 

• If no, "how do you justify this view given the Constitutionally mandated powers within the three branches of government?"
• If yes, "would you support congressional hearings to take testimony to that exact point?"

Are you aware of the 1999 French COMETA report in which former high-level members of the French government state that UFOs being extraterrestrial craft is the most likely explanation and criticizes the U.S. government for stifling public discourse and investigation?

• If no, "is it not curious that a major ally would indirectly challenge the United States on such an issue?"
• If yes, "would you support congressional hearings to consider this report's recommendations?"

Are you aware of the 1998 Sturrock Panel report from the Society for Scientific Exploration, which states that UFO phenomena should be reevaluated and reinvestigated?

• If no, mention the SSE web address (www.scientificexploration.org) and that Dr. Sturrock is with Stanford University.
• If yes, "would you call for congressional hearings to explore the SSE report recommendations?"
